Call for Board Members

Canton Historical Society seeks interested individuals to fill 3 available Board of Director's positions.  Canton Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation of local history.  Board members help with the preservation of artifacts, documents, and historical sites.   Board members also work to research historical information, provide educational and cultural opportunities, support social programs and special projects.  The board meets every third Monday of the month at 7:00 PM.  Board Directors serve a 3 year term.  If you are interested in this position, please provide a brief resume (paragraph) to Bill Tesen at btestn@wowway.com or 734-844-1374.

Holiday Tea 2019

The Canton Historical Society presents: A Holiday Tea, on Saturday December 7th from 1-3 pm at the Bartlett-Travis House located at 500 North Ridge Road. Come enjoy an afternoon at a historic Canton house decorated for Christmas! Enjoy live music accompanied by tea, sandwiches, and small desserts, and learn a bit about how Christmas in Canton used to be spent.Tickets are $25 each and available at the Summit on the Park (46000 Summit Parkway in Canton). B-4 2019 Quickly Approaching!

The 10th Annual Brew, Brats, and Bands at the Barn is quickly approaching on September 7, 2019!  Please join us for a fun night of craft beer tasting and fantastic live music.   Tickets are $25.00 and include 7 beer tickets for you to taste a variety of over 75 beers that will include local favorites from Canton Brew Works and Liberty Street Brewing Company.  Additionally, you will have all you can east bratwursts and fixing and a complimentary beer tasting mug.   Additional details and advance tickets available from Beerfests.com.   We look forward to seeing you September 7!
